TAYLOR MAKES EXTREME E RETURN IN VELOCE DRIVER SHAKEUP

Veloce Racing is shaking up the Extreme E driver lineup with a bold move, announcing Molly Taylor and Kevin Hansen as their new duo for the season finale in Uruguay. Taylor, the reigning champion from last year with Rosberg X Racing, returns to the series after being replaced earlier in the season, while Hansen makes the switch from JBXE on a long-term deal.

Replacing Lance Woolridge and Christine Giampaoli Zonca, Taylor and Hansen are eager to make their mark at the Energy X-Prix. Taylor expressed her excitement about rejoining the Extreme E paddock and highlighted Veloce’s ambition and Hansen’s skill as key factors in their partnership.

Hansen, thrilled to join a team as dynamic and forward-thinking as Veloce, emphasized their shared high ambitions and praised Taylor as a strong teammate. Veloce Racing’s CEO, Daniel Bailey, sees this driver change as part of the team’s evolution and preparation for season three, aiming to end season two on a high note.

As for JBXE, Hedda Hosås will have a new teammate for the Energy X-Prix, but the identity of the replacement has not been confirmed. With Timo Scheider returning to his reserve role and Fraser McConnell available, the team dynamics are set for a shift.

Furthermore, Chip Ganassi Racing driver Kyle LeDuc will miss a round for the first time due to a scheduling conflict, with RJ Anderson stepping in to partner Sara Price for the final round. Anderson’s extensive off-road racing experience makes him a fitting replacement for LeDuc in this high-stakes event.
